Its okay not to be okay.

The other day, I was scrolling through Facebook when I saw a "friends"post about how people shouldn't complain about pregnancy because not everyone can be pregnant or they've dealt with an unfortunate circumstance of miscarriage.I'm not  heartless, I feel for all those women in the worls. And although I understood her point of view,I'm on the other side of things to say, It's okay not to be okay while pregnant.   Since I was high school, I have always suffered from depression/anxiety. I started taking  medications for it around my sophomore year . It was something that ran in our family. Its just something you learn to live with. After a few years of medications, I met my (now) husband, and decided I didn't want him to think I was crazy and I didn't want to rely on the pills to make me feel good. And it worked for awhile. He took away a lot of the pain and didn't even know it. But the summer before our wedding I decided it was time to try ag...

You all might ask yourself why I choose to write about my life. I'm not an author. I 'm not trying to write a book by any means. But writing is something  I have always loved. And it has always made me feel so much better to write out all my thoughts and feelings. Not only that, but it helps for people to understand what I'm going through when I have to call and cancel or moves  appointments. I feel it gives people a better  understanding. PLUS, if I can connect with or help another mama in a similar situation, my day is made. So here we go: WEEK 32 It's been just over a week since Baby Girl gave us a scare when she showed signs of premature labor. Within that week, we ended up going for another visit at Labor and Delivery. I never wanted to be a one of those pregnant ladies who panicked at everything, or called the nurses hotline a million times. But the last couple weeks have made me feel like I've gone completely insane! So yes, last week the doctor...

Baby Mama/ Life update

Hey hey to all my followers! I actually didn't think that I'd be able to say that with this kind of blog! However,  since sharing I have had quite a few ladies reach out to me and it's seriously been heart warming ! I never thought just venting and talking about my feelings and experiences would lead to so many people confessing they feel the same! It's definitely nice to know you're not alone when you're just feeling like a crazy ball of emotions rolling down a hill and destroying everything in its path ! So to all those girls, thanks so much for reaching out to me 💕. Since the last time I wrote, life has changed. And it's starting to change fast . I'm now 31 weeks.  And I find myself wondering where the time has gone. I know these next weeks will just fly by. After all, next week will be April and our little girl should be making her appearance sometime in May  (we hope.) We've started seeing the doc every 2 weeks instead of 4 and I've st...

I like you, I like you not.

Skip a few weeks and  I'm now 25 weeks pregnant. In   the last 16-18 weeks, I can honestly say that pregnancy has been an absolute breeze. I've never gotten morning sickness, and I've only had one small food aversion. On the other hand, I've had strep throat, and just about every flu in the book. But I think this baby is finally done relying solely on my immune  system.  I had a guest in  the salon the other night, and she asked "What's your favorite part about being pregnant?" And I honestly didn't know how to answer. I like being pregnant, but is there a favorite part? I have also thought of a million  things I don't like about being pregnant. So, if you want my honesty? Here's a list of things I've liked about pregnancy, whether it be a food, or a product, or a feeling, and also a  list of things I don't like. And for some reason,I  have hunch I'm not the only  hormonal pregnant woman to like or dislike any of these things. ...

Yes, We're REALLY Pregnant!

After I got to confirm the big news to my husband, we both sat in there in shock. We just couldn't believe it happened so fast, we were so excited but still trying to wrap our minds around it. Our very much positive test! My sister had just face-timed us off of Lee's phone, and that is the real reason he was coming into the bedroom by me in the first place. So we called her back, and had to hold the excitement in to ourselves. It was kind of a fun little secret between us, but it was also hard to hold back such exciting news. I got up out of bed to continue with our day, but man, I really did not feel good. My cramps got worse, I got a fever, and I couldn't stay awake, and then (TMI) I couldn't stay out of the bathroom. Was this a symptom of pregnancy? Would I even be showing signs at 2 weeks in? I was really confused, and really sick. Soon, I was dehydrated and things got worse instead of better. In my first day of knowing I was pregnant,I got to utilize t...

Party Until 3am! Just kidding, Party of 3!

There are plenty of books out there that will tell you what it's like to be pregnant and all of the things to expect. There's also my Dear Friend Google.(something I should really stay off of) But all in all, there are a ton of resources out that talk about what to expect while pregnant; Things like: When you'll gain weight, what kind of diet to follow, what kinds of things to buy to prepare for baby, things about labor. There is a ton of information out there and I'm so thankful for that. However, there's not a whole lot out there to tells you about how your every day life will be effected, how your relationship will change, or how friendship changes. And there's definitely not enough information about the emotional toll (on top of all the hormones) that pregnancy will take on you.. Being a first time Mom, I will probably never feel ready. But I also didn't realize how much things would change, so early on.Want to know who your real friends are? Get pr...

Are we really pregnant?

"Are we really pregnant?!" The first words to come from my new husband of 14 days. And yes, we were really pregnant! The stars must have been aligned just right on our wedding day, just two weeks prior. I know,I know.Who get's pregnant on their wedding night anymore? Almost sound cliche, right? But it happens, and  we did. Lee and I got married on September 2nd, and we left for our honeymoon September 10th. We spent our days laying by the ocean.  We stayed at the Riu Palace Riviera Maya.  We spent 5 days under the sun in Mexico . These were days I would never forget. Everything about the trip was so memorable. It was mine and Lee's first time flying anywhere together. And first time traveling as a married couple. Our trip was scheduled right when there happened to be 5 HURRICANES happening, and one forming in the Gulf of Mexico.I panicked (Of course) and was certain we would be canceling our trip. Thankfully, we didn't have to,and everythin...
